Hobbies:
I
enjoy attending and watching Atlanta Braves Baseball games. I love
to travel and spend quality time with my family.
I love
my job as a 7th grade math teacher at PFMS. I approach
every student as though they were my own child. I truly care about
each of them and enjoy getting to know them. I honestly believe all
children can learn and I challenge myself to reach every child. I
have high expectations for my students and run a structured
classroom, but at the same time I like to have fun with my students
and make learning math fun for them. If you were to ask my students
what characteristics would describe me, I believe they would say
“very patient”, “compassionate”, “funny”, “caring” , “fair and
consistent”, and a little bit “crazy”.
I
believe that we all can make a difference in the life of a child.
The teaching profession has been given a perfect opportunity to make
a positive difference. It is our responsibility to encourage a love
of knowledge and make what we teach relevant to each student’s
life. I feel that I learn just as much from my students as they may
learn from me. Knowledge truly is power.
