Textbooks and Equipment

Desks, lockers, books and other equipment at any school belong to the school district and, although assigned to a particular student for use, may be entered and searched by officials whenever said officials have reasonable suspicion that some substance or other materials is contained therein which is illegal, or harmful to the safety of the student, or to the student body as a whole, or significantly disruptive or dangerous to the overall discipline of the school.

It is the student's responsibility to keep all school materials in the best possible care. Students who damage or destroy school materials/property may be held financially responsible for these materials in addition to any disciplinary consequences.
