Raider time forms were sent home on Tuesday. Students who scored a level 1 or 2 on their math or reading EOG last year will have an opportunity to receive additional help. Students that scored higher than a level 2 may participate with the teacher approval. Please call the school if you did not get the form.

We will be testing on Tuesday-Thursday next week in reading, math and science. Please make sure your children are well rested.

Early HS Registration: The School of choice application deadline is February 15, 2012.  Any 8^th grade student interested in a high school school of choice must have this application postmarked to the Student Assignment office by Feb. 15, 2012.  Also, remember to check with the individual school you are interested in as well.  They may have an additional application to fill out.

Email Migration: We are in the process of migrating to a new email system. We should be completed with the migration by Tuesday. If you email our staff and do not receive a reply within 24 hours, please assume something is amiss and call the school at 488-2711.
Dress Passes: We have 9 more dress down days scheduled this year. Individual $5 passes will no longer be sold. You may still enjoy saving $2 per pass if you send $27 in January for the remaining 9 days. The dates are posted on the calendar.

Reports cards:  will go home on Jan. 27th. If you have any questions about your child's report card, feel free to call and set up a meeting with your child's team.

The "Raider clothing closet" always has a need of uniform items. As your child grows, gently worn items can be donated to those in need. If you have donations please contact Mrs. Medina in student services. We are grateful for your help. 

Please read the Parent Flu Memo. Fever (100^o F) (37.8^o C or greater), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and/or other Stomach/GI Symptoms - your child needs to remain home. No student shall return to school until they have been fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicine, even if they feel better.

We are having a problem with students not being picked up after extracurricular activities. If you know you can not pick up your child at the time you need to please do not allow your child to stay after school that day. All fall sports and remediation/raider time are over by 5:30 pm. If you can not be here by then your child should not stay. Repeat offenders will be told not to stay after school anymore.

Our teachers have voted to amend our dress code. We will now allow students to wear a light weight jacket to class. The jacket should be solid black, navy, blue, green, tan, or khaki and should not have a hood.
